Hi!

I’m Charis :D

I’m a UI/UX designer navigating the complexities of the world with curiosity and a touch of wonder. Driven by a love for playful problem-solving, I believe the best designs spark joy, blend thoughtfulness with creativity, and make the everyday problems feel easy.

  • Growing up, I loved crafting—from building dollhouses and sewing tote bags to designing screen-printed shirts and accessories. These early projects taught me how to think creatively, solve problems practically, and bring ideas to life with the resources I had.

  • My curiosity and drive led me to start a small business creating customizable resin keychains, blending my artistic skills with entrepreneurial spirit. Through this, I learned how to design with purpose, considering both aesthetics and functionality—skills I now apply to UI/UX design.

By taking design courses, attending workshops, and connecting with professionals, I’ve gained valuable insights into the design process and the impact of thoughtful user experiences. Today, I strive to merge my artistic background with technical skills to create designs that are not only visually engaging but also intuitive and user-centered.

  • Currently, I’m a junior studying Visual Communications and Digital Media at Seattle Pacific University. As the Chief Tech Officer for the Student Media Board, I manage creative and technical projects that bring stories to life. Safe to say, I’m always looking for opportunities to merge design, technology, and storytelling in ways that make an impact.
